The beds were comfortable, the temperature comfortable, and the water pressure a delight! All in all, it suited our needs just perfectly ... I would definitely rent the entire house again."

"We [rented] this unit with another couple. It was a little cozy, but perfect for what we were looking for. The space was really nice and well kept. Very modern. Really, no problems at all. We will definitely rent again. Definitely. The owners were a breeze to deal with and we had a wonderful experience. Don't hesitate to rent any unit in this house. You can walk easily to the quarter... and even to jazz fest. We parked on the street and it was easy peasy. However, some of the neighboring units rented bikes and were super happy doing that too."

"My husband, kids and I stayed in the one bedroom unit for 4 days, 5 nights. Our kids slept in the pullout in the kitchen which worked well. I thought it was fantastic and met our needs in almost every way. The unit is brand new, tastefully appointed with cheerful colors and real NOLA charm. Our rental host left us a welcome packet which was chock full of information on the unit and the area, including great strolls to take, amazing food and the like. Ideal location but I didn't feel like a tourist. I also loved having a little kitchenette to cook various easy meals for our kids (which had most tools you'd need) and make coffee in the morning. The washer/dryer were a real plus as well. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back…but maybe without the kids."

"Such a wonderful retreat to return to after a busy day running around the French Quarter. I took my wife to New Orleans for her 30th birthday, and we loved every minute of it including this wonderful 2 bedroom apartment. It is so nice and clean, with plenty of room for 2 couples, even though it was just the 2 of us, and in such a quiet neighborhood. [The host] was wonderful to work with, very prompt answering questions that we had before and during our visit. He also recommended local restaurants and activities and was absolutely spot on with everything. We will stay here again."

"We rented this property for the second weekend of Jazz Fest. We had both wings so it was quite spacious. The property is protected with outdoor cameras and features keypads so you don't have to fumble with keys ever. It features an exquisite, large garden in the back with a really neat water fountain. Had it not been for the torrential downpours we would have spent more time there. We often gathered in the kitchen area at the rectangular table which could comfortably seat 8. The property is in a great location and is just an Uber away from so many attractions such as Bourbon and Frenchman Streets. The property manager was very professional and responsive. I wouldn't mind staying here again!!"

"This place is great! Perfect spot to come and enjoy New Orleans. 15 minute walk, or taxi for less than $10 to where all the action is. ... 7 full-size beds I believe. Excellent communication with management company. Great yard. Comfortable place. Highly recommended."

"I couldn't imagine a better place to stay in New Orleans! The house is amazing -- hard to believe, but so much better than the pictures make it out to be. Rooms are all quite large, with unimaginably tall ceilings. Booking a location with a pool in New Orleans in the summer time is an absolute must and this pool was the best! Very large, with a large deck, floats, chairs and pool towels. The owners of this house have thought of everything, from sunscreen and bug spray to k-cups for the Kureg, making the place really feel like home. The location is perfect, also. Just two blocks from the trolley, which makes it really easy to get to the French Quarter or the Garden District. It's also very convenient that there's a designated parking spot for the house, so you don't have to worry about meters or parking violations. The hosts were super attentive and helpful. This was our best trip to New Orleans yet! We can't wait to come back, and hopefully stay here again."

"We loved this house - a real home away from home (the photos are really accurate). It was really comfortable - the air conditioning was fabulous (really even across the house). The beds were almost as good as being in your own bed at home. The kitchen was really well equipped, making what little cooking we did an easy task. The pool was also fabulous - very welcome after a hot day of sightseeing. The locations of the house was good - only a block from the St Charles Streetcar, and with plenty of good places to eat close by. [The owner] was an excellent host, giving detailed instructions and always quick to respond to any queries. Thank you so much.”

“Our experience at Dave & Shinda's place could not have been better. The quality of our vacation was enhanced by how comfortable we felt in the house. You can not pick a more perfect place for a large group of folks to stay at. We really enjoyed the public spaces (back yard, balcony, living room) and the bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. We never felt cramped at all! The thing that I appreciated most was how clean and well cared for the property was. It looks exactly like the photos! We felt extremely safe in the neighborhood and it was an easy walk down to the French Quarter or Frenchman's St. There were tons of neat touches in the house and the [Guest Manual] has some amazing suggestions and tips that we followed to a tee. Shinda was incredibly responsive to any questions that we had and we got the feeling that if we had a problem with the house she would be there post haste. If you are going to New Orleans you must rent from Dave and Shinda! Rent this place or any of their others! I know I'm coming back!"

“CHRISTMAS 2016- Wow! We booked to stay at [Maison Diana] in New Orleans for our first ever Christmas away from home and our first ever vacation rental experience. Boy did we make the right decision! We had wished for a magical Christmas away from home and resembling some of the fantastic idyllic images we some times take for granted in movies. We were not disappointed in terms of location venue, ambience comfort and, dare I say it, peace security and safety. The magic was created by a beautifully lit house, Christmas tree with all the trimmings, pool side and hot tub area that were clean, and hygienically excellent. The kitchen was excellently kitted and clean. There was ample supply of towels for both pool, hot tub and indoor shower and bath. Equally there was ample supply of cleaning stuff which made staying there a joy. The location was excellent for us as we were two women on our own. The rooms were clean and spacious —it really was a home for the week we were there and when we do return to New Orleans, we do not want to stay any where else but at [Maison Diana]. Oh, the cab man whose card was left at the property was "a good find"—he made us feel safe and pointed out all the local places for us.When our week was up we were reluctant to leave but our equally lovely home called to us. It really was a magical holiday and we are saving up already to return. We would strongly recommend this property for a holiday stay as it has everything needed to make a holiday go well. We loved the trollies or trams as we call them in England, we enjoyed shopping at Rouses, Lakeside shopping centre. As to restaurants that is a matter of personal choice, however there are plenty to chose from and our holiday had with our contract a very clear and helpful itinerary and recommendations which we found helpful. Customer service from beginning to end was excellent. Re-assurances and immediate communication when our flight was delayed gave us ample encouragement and confidence. I am now determined to get me a hot tub after the affirmation of the use of the one at the property. All in all excellent service, excellent hosts and definitely no infringement of our privacy."
